Social Dilemma: My Wife is Spending Waaaay Too Much on Psychics!

Today's 98.3 TRY Social Dilemma came from Henry and it's about his wife and psychics. Here's his email: Hi Jaime. I'm having a real issue with my wife and I'm hoping you or your listeners can help. I think we can all agree that things in the world are a little stressful right now, and my wife has turned to psychics to help her deal with it. At first I thought it was fine. If it helped, great, even though I'm not a believer. But now, she's really going overboard, spending almost a thousand dollars a month seeing all different psychics hoping to get answers and information on the future. I've said that maybe a therapist would be a better way to go to deal with the stress, but she just won't stop going to psychics.This is out of hand. I feel like she's being taken advantage of, plus she's throwing away money instead of getting real help. We really can't afford to keep doing this, but she says her mental health is worth it. What can I do to get her out of the psychic circle? Thanks for the help ~ Henry. Well, I'm not anti psychic at all. In fact, I've had some amazing readings, but that being said, there is no reason to go back over and over again to a psychic constantly. It sounds like someone is taking advantage of her. Plus a thousand dollars a month is a crazy amount of money. I think I would say, one psychic reading a month because we simply can't afford more.
